First and foremost, WE L-O-V-E, LOVE teaching!  Everything that is on this blog stems from our heart.  We strive every day to become better at what we do so we can best teach our kids!

Now, that being said, we know what you are thinking... What in the world is the "BRANKE BUNCH"?!  Well... it all began in 2011 when our school district totally redistricted and the two of us--being the newbies of the district--were both reassigned teaching positions as partners in 5th grade at a newly configured Upper Elementary School.  We soon knew the craziness of the redistricting was meant to be... because we are soul mates! 

PURPLE PALOOZA DAY:  To celebrate our Fun Run success, we had a school wide Purple Palooza Spirit Day.  In the Branke Bunch... WE GO BIG, OR GO HOME! :-)

We are passionate about many things--especially with regards to our teaching style and philosophy.  Here are some things you will see a LOT about on our blog.  If any of these things interest you or intrigue you, then stay tuned!! :-)

• It's all about the GROWTH! Differentiate to give every student what they need to grow!
• WORK HARD, PLAY HARD!  (Dance, Sing, Laugh, Learn... We have to do it all!)
